Massive congratulations goes to Senior Endurance athlete Jonathan Moore, who this week broke the record for our Time Trial, which has stood for 17 years.

In February 2006, Stuart Gibson ran the 4 mile event in 20 minutes and 22 seconds, and that record has remained unbroken since. 2 months ago, in our May time trial, Jonathan equalled that record time and on Tuesday 4th July 2023 he smashed it, running the summer course in 20 minutes and 11 seconds.

In other news, it was recently discovered, that during our championship race at Strathclyde Parkrun on 3rd June, Jonathan, who placed first at the event, was actually the 8th fastest Parkrunner in the whole UK on that week. Both absolutely fantastic achievements, well done Jonathan, from everyone at Motherwell AC!!
