Fantastic news just in from today’s Scottish Masters Championships where two Motherwell Athletics Club athletes have won 5 golds in their categories between them.
Amazing results with golds for Jim in his M75 category and Alan in his M45 for both the 100m and 200m. Also gold for Jim in the long jump.
Alan ran Championship best performance in both sprints despite a strong headwind and was first master overall with his brilliant 100m performance.
Report from Coach Bob McCrum was that both had textbook sprint technique.
