News just in…. Motherwell Athletics Club athlete Angus Irvine yesterday competed in the Atlas Running Belfast 100 mile race and finished first place!!
Incorporating the Northern Ireland and Ulster championships, this race is a flat tarmac loop which has to be completed 97 times to make the 100 mile distance. In a chip time of 15hrs, 13 minutes and 37 seconds, Angus was one of only 6 finishers, leading the next runner by nearly 2.5 hours.
Massive congratulations Angus from everyone at MAC!!! What an amazing achievement!!!!
