Thanks Elizabeth Martin and Luke McIlvenna

Motherwell Athletics Club thanks two of its coaches, Elizabeth Martin and Luke McIlvenna as they cease coaching at MAC to take up new and exciting roles.

Elizabeth Martin

Elizabeth’s recent retirement from Coaching is understandable due to her business commitments. We will all miss her but wish her lots of success in her future work adventures.

Elizabeth has shown great commitment to the Club and our young Athletes over several years. She has all the positive attributes of what makes a great Athletics Coach – a high degree of Technical Knowledge, good communication & organisation skills, kind, thoughtful and encouraging.

You would be welcome anytime to help out during a session so keep the licence up to date.

The whole club thanks Elizabeth for her long contribution to the club and its athletes.

Luke McIlvenna

Luke is another Coach who has had to resign from the Club due to an opportunity arising in Australia. A PhD is beckoning – too good a chance to miss.

Best wishes to Luke and thanks for all the Coaching sessions you spent with the Club and with the Ravenscraig Run, Jump, Throw Club. We’re sure your Coaching skills will be put to good use Down Under.

Thanks to Bob McCrum for providing the tributes to Elizabeth and Luke.
