We had a fantastic turn out of 40 Senior Endurance athletes (possibly a record) at this evening’s Time Trial Handicap Race which was our first race on the winter route. The weather gods were with us tonight and the conditions were excellent for the race.
Peter Blackmore was first male (for the second consecutive month) in 27:28 and Gillian McCaffer was first female in 30:58. Unsurprisingly, Jim Tracey picked up the wooden spoon (The Jim Tracey Award) in a slower than usual time. Thanks to everyone who made it down to Strathclyde Park tonight.
Thanks to Anne Hughes, Irene Kerr, Lynsey Sneddon, Mark Paterson and Ross McLean for helping out on what was a busy evening.
Please see the full results and the 2016 Time Trial Championship page for the tables.
