We had 17 participants on Tuesday’s 4 Mile Time Trial handicap race on what was a fairly dismal night as far as the weather was concerned. That did not deter our athletes from turning in some excellent performances.
Susan Stewart won the women’s race in 27:29 – 30 seconds faster than her PB for the course. Peter Blackmore won the men’s race in 28:46 – more than a minute faster than his estimated time. Angela Downie picked up thewooden spoon in a quite respectable time of just under 32 minutes. Well done to everyone who made it down to Strathclyde Park on such a dank and dreich evening.
